Leanne Parks, co-owner, physical therapist at Proactive Rehabilitation with over a decade of experience in physical therapy and rehabilitation, Leanne Parks brings expertise, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to her role as co-owner of Proactive Rehabilitation. Leanne began her career as an athletic trainer while attending physical therapy school, working closely with high school and collegiate athletes. Her passion for helping others and drive to lead her own practice led her to Proactive Rehabilitation, where she aligned with the company’s ethos and ultimately took the opportunity to become a co-owner.
Before joining Proactive Rehabilitation, Leanne served as a clinic manager at Advance Rehabilitation for four years and Wind City Physical Therapy for six years, gaining valuable experience in leadership, patient care, and clinic operations.
Leanne holds a Bachelor of Science from Miami University, Ohio (2004), a Master of Physical Therapy (2007), and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2008) from Mount St. Joseph University. She is a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist and is currently a Fellow in Training through Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars. She is also certified in dry needling through Myopain Seminars and has advanced training in pelvic floor conditions through APTA, Herman & Wallace, and Women’s Health Training Associates. In recognition of her dedication to mentorship, she was honored as Clinical Instructor of the Year by Idaho State University in 2024.
Leanne’s strengths lie in her empathetic and integrative approach to patient care, combining functional goals with tailored interventions. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Orthopedic and Pelvic Health Sections of the APTA, the American Association of Orthopedic Manual Therapists, and the Maitland Australian Physiotherapy Seminar Fellowship Program. She also serves as the Vice President of the APTA Wyoming Chapter.
Outside of work, Leanne enjoys spending time with her horses, hiking, watching her kids’ sports, and reading. She is continuously motivated by her patients, driving her to stay at the forefront of advancements in physical therapy and rehabilitation.
