Mark Weaver, PT
With over 30 years of experience in physical therapy and wound care, Mark Weaver is a seasoned professional dedicated to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive care and innovative treatments. Since joining Proactive Physical Therapy in Pinedale in June 2013, Mark has become a cornerstone of our team, bringing a wealth of expertise in both general orthopedics and specialized wound care. Mark’s journey into physical therapy began with his own experiences with injuries during high school, which sparked his passion for helping others recover and thrive. This deep-seated desire to assist those in need has guided his career, leading him to establish the Cheyenne Wound Care Center and serve as the chief provider of wound care in Jackson Hole for over five years. His significant contributions include serving as the Director of Physical Therapy at Saint John’s Medical Center (interim) and providing hands-on training and advisory support to varioustherapy clinics.
Mark earned his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Tennessee in 1994 and has continually expanded his knowledge through continuing education, with a focus on wound care and orthopedics. His ability to build strong rapport with patients and referring doctors has been a hallmark of his career, enhancing patient care and outcomes across diverse settings.
Outside of his professional life, Mark enjoys a range of activities, including fishing, softball, and hockey. He also stays engaged with current events and religious studies, reflecting his broader interest in understanding the world and its impact on society.
As a heart attack survivor, Mark’s personal journey adds a layer of empathy and resilience to his practice. His unwavering commitment to helping others and his extensive experience make him a valuable asset to the Proactive Physical Therapy team and a trusted partner in patient care.
