With over a decade of dedicated service at Proactive, Cassandra Bennett is an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

Cassandra’s journey in occupational therapy is driven by her passion for helping individuals recover and achieve their personal goals, a passion rooted in her own experiences with rehabilitation and weightlifting.

Cassandra’s career began in long-term care and geriatric rehabilitation in Boise, Idaho, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care. She then transitioned to acute care and outpatient therapy at a local hospital in Lander, Wyoming, before contributing to the development of the rehabilitation program at Westward Heights Skilled Nursing Facility. Her expertise in building and enhancing rehabilitation services was pivotal during her three years at Westward Heights, leading to her move to Pinedale and her continued success at Proactive. A graduate of Idaho State University with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy, Cassandra’s educational background is complemented by her certifications as a Lymphedema Therapist and in Dry Needling for Upper Extremities. Her skills include orthotic fabrication, patient education, and personalized treatment planning, all of which contribute to her exceptional ability to help patients reach their individual goals. Cassandra’s commitment to her profession is matched by her dedication to her personal interests.

An avid horseback rider and Olympic weightlifting enthusiast, she enjoys activities that reflect her commitment to physical fitness and well-being. As a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT), Cassandra stays at the forefront of her field, continually enhancing her skills and knowledge. Her goal is to empower individuals to return to the activities they love and support their journey towards recovery and success.
